What is the difference between the Deluxe and Regular equipment kit?

Items found in the deluxe but not in the regular: 5 gallon glass carboy, carboy brush, carboy bung, brew paddle, and auto siphon.

The major difference is going to be the 5 gallon glass carboy. This is the secondary fermentation vessel. This vessel is typically used for bulk aging, dry hoping, or any other ingredients used during fermentation.

Is this everything I need to get started?

This equipment kit contains the speciality equipment needed for brewing. The other items you will need are ingredients, bottles, and a pot large enough to boil 2.5 gallons (usually about 16 quarts).
